Southern Stars is a Regional Arts project that brings together schools from all over the Illawarra area to showcase their performing talents. The performance is held at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre and includes almost 3000 students from various locations between Helensburgh to Bega and the Southern Highlands. This years production will take place on Friday 27th and 28th August.
Southern Stars provide students with an opportunity to showcase their talents in a professional setting with a capacity audience and hopefully provide a springboard to a rewarding career in the arts for many of our young people.
We offer our support by attending local rehearsals to capture the progress of the large scale production, we also take all of the program images including studio portraits of the key coordinators and performers involved. Full photographic coverage of the event for their website.
