A litte bit about the association:

The Parents and Friends’ Federation of Western Australia Inc. provides an independent voice for parents of children in Catholic schools, and assists them in working collaboratively with their schools to provide a Catholic education which will help all children to achieve their full potential – academically, socially, physically, emotionally and, above all, spiritually.

In living this vision, the Federation, through collaboration with other agencies, seeks to:

Obtain the allocation of realistic levels of public funding which will ensure the financial accessibility of our Catholic schools to families from all socio-economic groups.

Support and participate in the maintenance of a complementary high standard of religious education and faith development in our homes and schools

Protect the social environment in which our children are developing, thereby minimising the negative influences in our society which often seriously undermine the good, positive contribution of families and schools.

Achieve the adoption of public financial and taxation policies which will support and encourage the traditional family as the basic unit of our Christian society.

Promote positive home/school/community relationships and partnerships.

Ensure appropriate educational provision at all ages and stages of children’s development.
