A litte bit about the association:
Our Principals and Deputy Principals are essential to the quality of state secondary schooling, and it is my privilege to work with you, as members, and to advocate for our schools, over the next year.
Our Executive will meet regularly with senior officers of Education Queensland, the Director-General, the Queensland Studies Authority and the Queensland Teachers' Union. I will also be meeting with the Minister on a semi-regular basis.
Our Association's ability to influence strategically must be at the fore of the Executive's activities. Over recent years we have achieved much; that must be continued and expanded upon.
We will be involved in representing state secondary schools in activities around resourcing, curriculum, policy development, planning and accountability arrangements, legislation, and workforce capability and human resource issues.
