At MSP Photography we want to ensure our approach to school photography is easy for everyone involved.

To help, we’ve prepared answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) parents and students have about our processes.

  • What should I do if I can’t find my order envelope?

    Because we are dedicated to the security of your child’s image, each MSP Photography envelope contains a unique ‘shootkey’ linked specifically to your child. For this reason, you cannot simply photocopy envelopes. If you have lost or misplaced your envelope with its unique shootkey, please contact your local franchise.

  • What methods of payment do you accept?

    Each local MSP Photography business is slightly different, with payment methods set out on the back of your pre-pay envelope. Most MSP Photography businesses accept cash and credit card payments. Most credit cards can be used when ordering via our online order page.

  • Can I order and pay for school photos online?

    Yes! Our secure online ordering system has been tried and tested for some years now and each year more and more parents are taking advantage of this convenient and easy option. Simply visit our Order Online page. Be sure to note the order number on your pre-pay envelope and return it with your child on school photo day. You can order for more than one child in the same transaction. Simply enter the shootkey for the first student and make your selections then choose ‘Change Shoot’ to enter another shootkey. Continue to do this for each sibling then complete the transaction with a single payment.

  • Can I have my children photographed together? How do I order a sibling photo?

    Yes provided your school has arranged for sibling photographs to be taken. If you are interested in having sibling photographs taken of your children, request a family envelope from your school office and return with one of your children on photo day. If you choose to order online, remember to note your order number on the envelope. All children will also need to return their individual envelopes for portrait shots.

  • I have more than one child at the school. Can I send money for all children in one envelope?

    For ease of processing on photo day, we prefer individual students to have the correct money in their own pre-pay envelope. However, we understand that this isn’t always convenient for parents. If you need to put all money in one child’s envelope, please note on the other envelope(s) the name and class of the child who has the order money.

  • My husband/wife and I are separated. How do we each order photos?

    The custodial parent can share the child’s unique shootkey with the non-custodial parent, which can then be used to order online, or they can order for both parents using the pre-pay envelope. If parents are estranged, the non-custodial parent should contact their local MSP business owner who will then liaise with the school to determine next steps.

  • When will my order be delivered?

    At MSP Photography, we pride ourselves on delivering your photos quickly and aim to have your order delivered to the school within a month of photo day. This depends on proofing turnaround times and delivery times, particularly to remote schools. Please note that photos will only be delivered back to the school and cannot be despatched to individuals.

  • Have your photographers and staff had a police check?

    Yes, it is a requirement that all our staff have current ‘Working with Children’ accreditation and police clearance.

  • I did not place an order on or before photo day. Is it too late?

    Please contact your local MSP representative to request a late order. Please note that an additional late order fee may apply.

  • I haven't received my school photos but other parents have. What should I do?

    Please contact our friendly customer service team at your local MSP office by phone or email, who will trace your order and get back to you.

  • What if I am unhappy with my child’s photo? Do you offer refunds?

    At MSP Photography, we aim for smiles – from students, parents and schools. Quality comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your child’s school prints, we offer you two options: 1. Contact your local MSP representative to discuss concerns. We may be able to set up a time to re-shoot the portrait. 2. Return the product to the local MSP Photography outlet within 14 days of delivery with a note explaining why you are unhappy, and your contact information. We will get in touch with you to organise a full refund. Please note that this money-back guarantee does not extend to Digital Portrait downloads, so please ensure that you’re completely happy with your hard-copy prints before you download your digital portrait.

  • Is MSP a member of the Professional School Photographers Association?

    Yes, each MSP Photography business is a proud member of the Professional School Photographers Association of Australia (PSPA).  This membership guarantees a professional standard that assures integrity, trust and the highest standards. We adhere to the Association’s code of conduct in relation to the collection and use of student data and images, as well as ensure all staff have current ‘Working with Children’ checks in place.
